Heels & Brogues Group Limited is collaborating with a renowned client seeking a Maintenance Engineer in the coffee sector.

Job title: Preventative Maintenance Engineer

Location: Not specified

Salary: £28,000 OTE £40,000

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in the manufacture of professional coffee machines as a Maintenance Engineer. Due to ongoing growth, our client is looking to enhance their service quality and expand their maintenance engineer team. Successful candidates will have the chance to advance as the business grows and opportunities that match their skills arise.

Main duties and responsibilities for Maintenance Engineer:

  • Conduct planned maintenance on various coffee machines according to the manufacturer's schedule.
  • Work alongside the customer's boiler inspector for PSSR Boiler Inspections (facilitation only).
  • Troubleshoot issues with valves and related components, including descaling or replacing to prevent faults post-maintenance.
  • Ensure equipment calibration for optimal coffee quality and compliance with customer standards.
  • Replace water filters based on water hardness test results.
  • Independently manage spare parts in the service van.
  • Accurately and promptly complete service reports, documenting work and spare parts used.

Job requirements for Maintenance Engineer:

  • Willingness to learn how to use a multimeter & basic electrical wiring/testing skills.
  • Understanding the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • An understanding of electronics and circuitry would be advantageous.
  • Coffee knowledge (desired but not essential).
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
