The Night Hygiene Operative plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of plant hygiene at Pilgrim's Europe. This position requires a strong understanding of chemical and cleaning techniques to ensure the factory and equipment are cleaned to the correct standard.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of hygiene standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations for handling and storage of chemicals.
- Clean the factory and equipment to agreed standards, maintaining hygiene and product safety.
- Identify and report any defects with machinery or equipment to the Hygiene Line Controllers or Hygiene Operation Team Leaders.
- Contribute to reducing negative environmental impact by implementing sustainable practices and procedures.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required to support the team and business objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be conversant with hygiene standards, Health & Safety regulations, and COSHH guidelines. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the highest standards of plant hygiene.
