Job Title: Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team in the Children and Young People's Directorate. As an Administrator, you will provide high-quality business and administration support services to managers and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to staff and customers, including data entry, typing, diary management, and correspondence.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the team, handling routine enquiries and requests for information from colleagues, partners, and the public.
  • Assist with the administration of financial tasks, including ordering goods and services, processing invoices, and managing petty cash.
  • Arrange meetings and conferences, including room bookings, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of business administration systems and procedures.
  • Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and information security principles.
  • Experience of using IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant experience of working in a similar function.
  • Experience of working in a confidential environment.
  • Ability to take minutes and maintain accurate records.
