Operations Manager

As an Area Manager at Amazon UK Services Ltd., you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Fulfilment Centres. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Team of Professionals: You will be responsible for leading a team of Area Managers who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Fulfilment Centres.
- Drive Operational Excellence: You will be responsible for driving operational excellence across our Fulfilment Centres, ensuring that our operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality.
- Improve Processes: You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to our processes to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: You will work closely with colleagues across the business to standardize shift practices and ensure that our operations are aligned with our business objectives.
As an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our Fulfilment Centres, ensuring that it is running as smoothly as possible. Your main focus will be to drive operational excellence, improve processes, and lead a team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
About the TeamOur Customer Fulfilment team is responsible for ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality.
Requirements- Relevant Experience: You will have relevant experience in people management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence.
- Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
- Data Analysis: You will have experience of using data to influence business decisions and drive operational excellence.
- Language Skills: You will have written and spoken English language skills.
