Job Title: Project Management Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a Project Management Officer, you will be responsible for delivering projects that drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client liaison and relationship management
  • Bid management and proposal development
  • Project planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Revenue management and profitability analysis
  • Forecasting and project finances management
  • Risk management and mitigation
  • Quality control and assurance
  • Continuous process improvement and problem resolution
  • Resource allocation and management

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering engineering development projects in a leading/management role
  • Experience in Air, Land, or Maritime, including integration and assurance processes
  • 5 years' experience in project and programme management
  • Leadership of complex, multi-functional teams
  • Able to gain SC Clearance
  • Proficient with Project Finances, Revenue Recognition, Margin Improvement, Risk Management, and Month-end Reporting
  • Proven ability to plan and organise projects effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of delivering projects in the Defence Sector
  • Knowledge of MOD procurement process
  • Knowledge of delivery of complex software development projects

Security Clearance:

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
