Lead Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to become an integral part of our project team focused on a significant development initiative.
Project Details: This undertaking involves the restoration and transformation of several historic buildings into residential units, alongside the construction of new housing within the grounds of a former healthcare facility. The project encompasses a budget of approximately £30 million and is expected to span around 2.5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish initial project packages and oversee the procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Manage the financial elements of the project, including payments, applications, variations, and valuations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and manage Cost Value Reports (CVRs).
- Report directly to a visiting Commercial Director.
Candidate Profile: Ideal candidates will have a background with a main contractor, preferably Tier 1 or a larger regional firm. Experience in both new housing construction and refurbishment projects is advantageous. This role is suitable for either a Project-level Quantity Surveyor aiming to advance to a Senior position or an established Senior Quantity Surveyor eager to engage in a distinctive and challenging project.
