At Mactech Energy Group Careers, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Hinkley Point C, one of the UK's premier construction projects. This is a long-term contract, full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of £36.60 PAYE + allowances.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portion of the fabrication and welding scope, functioning as a junior project manager without primary commercial or budgetary responsibilities.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with project standards.
- Establish and coordinate work teams to execute tasks in accordance with the project plan.
- Manage temporary works as required by the project.
- Verify project readiness and monitor adherence to the established timeline.
- Communicate potential issues or concerns proactively to the project management team.
About the Project:
Hinkley Point C is a major construction project that involves building two new nuclear reactors, providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes. The project has a large scope of work, including mechanical manufacturing and production of pipework and associated elements.
