Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Intertape Polymer Group (IPG). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive and reactive maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing equipment and machinery.
  • Condition Monitoring: Conduct regular condition monitoring activities to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment, parts, and supplies, and ensure timely ordering and receipt of inventory.
  • Technical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Education: HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Time served maintenance technician with 5 years related industrial maintenance experience or equivalent.
  • Skills: Mechanical installation and fitting, electrical installations and wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic motion control systems.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Initiative and Time Management: Ability to work on own initiative and without direct supervision, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
