Job Overview

We're seeking a Country Manager to spearhead our business development efforts in the UK and Europe. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive sales and business development strategy, driving expansion and market penetration in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales and Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and market penetration in the UK and Europe.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals with C-suite executives.
  • Partnership Development: Build and nurture strategic relationships with fintechs, money remittance companies, and other financial institutions.
  • Customer Support and Value Addition: Address customer needs and explore opportunities to enhance TerraPay's value proposition.
  • Service Roll-out Coordination: Facilitate smooth introduction of new services, ensuring effective communication and coordination internally.
  • Lead Generation and Reporting: Attend tradeshows, source leads, and provide detailed reports to the sales management team.
  • CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate and timely reporting using CRM tools to track performance and sales activities.
  • Feedback and Strategy Adjustment: Provide actionable insights and feedback to the line manager about pipeline status and performance metrics.
  • Client Retention and Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client retention, contractual health, and overall satisfaction through proactive management and support.
  • Communication Facilitation: Strengthen the connection between customers and TerraPay's back-office services to streamline communication and resolve issues effectively.
  • Industry Trends and Research: Identify and analyze industry trends, events, and announcements to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • Experience in the Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services realm, with hands-on experience in B2B sales.
  • Degrees – University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management or equivalent.
  • CRM Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools and ability to maintain accurate and timely reporting.
  • Flexibility & Ownership: Adaptability, self-motivation, and ownership of tasks.
  • Team Spirit: Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently.
  • Customer & Market Centric: Strong grasp of customer needs, market dynamics, and industry requirements.
  • Relationship Builder: Ability to create and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
  • Detail-Oriented: Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with Spanish language an advantage.
