Job Description

Major Recruitment Oldbury is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team at our Wednesbury facility. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the manufacture and production of foam parts, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trimming department - ensuring foam seating is smooth and the correct shape with no defects.
  • Assist in the manufacture and production of foam parts.
  • Maximise output while maintaining quality standards.
  • Work to the Operational Delivery Standard (ODS) at all times.
  • Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental, and Safe Working Practices are followed.
  • Work as a team member on a Production Line.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
  • Work to achieve production targets and customer quality standards.
  • Participate in training and development activities.
  • Assist in the training of others.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
  • Report near miss incidents, accidents, and quality issues.
Requirements:
  • Display an aptitude to drive improvements to meet customer requirements.
  • Possess high attention to detail.
  • Be customer-focused.
  • Meet deadlines and targets.
