Dispatch Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatch Supervisor to join our fast-growing manufacturing team in Coventry. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of deadlines and projects to meet the expectations and timescales of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all aspects of the despatch operation, ensuring timely availability of materials and parts.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of finished goods, working closely with production and inventory teams.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure deadlines are met and compliance with health and safety standards is maintained.
  • Manage the dispatch team, creating a working environment that reflects our company values and promotes effective communication.
  • Run daily exception reports, maintaining good inter-departmental relationships and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Train and develop Team Leaders, providing clear objectives and supporting their growth within the company.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a distribution environment, with a strong background in logistics and team management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • GCSE Level Maths and English, with a strong focus on problem-solving and logical thinking.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive basic salary of up to £31,000.
  • A working week Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1700, with opportunities for weekday and weekend overtime.
  • Free onsite parking, canteen facilities, and a pension scheme.
  • Upskilling internal and external training, with 28 days annual leave increasing with service.
