Furthermore, they provide customized client briefings and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing the firm's premier UK Economic Outlook reports and economic updates.
  • Crafting innovative analyses on client-focused issues in an accessible manner.
  • Establishing a fiscal forecasting model and employing it to deliver regular insights on the fiscal landscape, including predictions for taxation and government spending.
  • Presenting the economic outlook to diverse audiences, tailoring content as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Economics with a strong emphasis on macroeconomics.
  • Significant experience in authoring economic outlook reports and performing macroeconomic research.
  • Expertise in modeling and analyzing public sector finances.
  • Experience in client interactions, effectively communicating economic outlook risks and key issues to various business audiences.
Essential Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of the UK economy, including its regional aspects.
  • Strong interest in major developments and risks affecting the G7 and significant emerging economies.
  • Advanced econometric capabilities.
  • High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with at least one econometric software (preferably R).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at conveying complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
