Clinical Fellow in Adult Inherited Metabolic Disease

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical genetics, chemical pathology, or a related field, and will be committed to pursuing a career in adult inherited metabolic disease.
About the RoleThe Clinical Fellow will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, conduct research, and participate in educational activities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients with inherited metabolic diseases
- Conduct research in adult inherited metabolic disease
- Participate in educational activities, including teaching and mentoring
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- UK GMC registration
- Experience in the management of patients with inherited metabolic disease
- Strong background in medical genetics, chemical pathology, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
