About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kenton Black Construction. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for commercially and contractually managing construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly understood and agreed upon.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that all expenses are properly accounted for and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure that all project objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Strong commercial and contractual management skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
