About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet by performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and plant equipment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and servicing of vehicles and plant machinery according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification of City & Guilds AVCE, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a range of vehicles and plant equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
