Police Education Instructor Opportunity

ARU is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Police Education Instructor to join our team in Norfolk. As a Police Education Instructor, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of police officers by delivering high-quality education and training programs.

About the Role:

We are looking for an Instructor to deliver police education (lectures, seminars, tutorials, etc.) and support the Senior and Principal Instructors with program review and development. This post will be located at Police Force sites in Norfolk, and you will work with police trainer colleagues at these locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality police education programs to student police officers
  • Support the Senior and Principal Instructors with program review and development
  • Work with police trainer colleagues at Police Force sites in Norfolk
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of a degree or equivalent professional experience, and a demonstrable willingness to work towards a higher qualification. Experience of teaching in a higher education setting would be welcome. Please note that extensive knowledge of policing practice is essential if you do not have a degree.
