About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team in City and Hackney. As a community-based prescriber, you will work with individuals experiencing difficulties with drugs and alcohol use, developing personalized support packages to help them achieve their goals.

Main Responsibilities

As a prescriber in our busy service, you will be involved in opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications. You will also provide support to the nursing team, including Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations, and work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services.

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified NMP Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber with excellent communication skills, the ability to develop creative and flexible support packages, and a deep level of empathy and understanding. You will be passionate about helping individuals achieve their potential and possess a genuine interest in supporting those with different needs.
