About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursery Manager to join our team at Innovation Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our education sector, you will be responsible for the internal organisation, management, and control of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding teaching following the EYFS method
  • Ensure the business model delivered is sustainable and profitable
  • Supervise and manage the nursery's daily operations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with parents and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ level 3 in Early Years (degree preferred)
  • Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Valid Food Hygiene certificate
  • Valid Safeguarding Lead certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record
  • Experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework
  • Experience of working in partnership with parents
  • General computer literacy and a range of IT skills
  • Experience of OFSTED inspections or other inspections/legal bodies and their requirements within day care on non-domestic premises
  • Understanding and knowledge of the local community
  • Knowledge of child development and meeting children's needs
