Key Responsibilities:

  • General Cleaning Duties: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Cleaning Washrooms: Ensure that washrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained, including restocking toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
  • Cleaning Floors: Use mops, vacuum cleaners, and floor cleaners to maintain the cleanliness of floors, including carpets, hardwood, and tile.
  • Carry out Cleaning Tasks: Perform cleaning tasks as required by the contract specification and supervisor, with agreed-upon timescales.
  • Dusting and Tidying: Dust and tidy assigned areas, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Punctuality and Attendance: Be punctual and attend for duty as requested, ensuring that you are available to work during evening hours.
  • Chemical and Cleaning Product Handling: Handle and store chemicals and cleaning products safely, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Quality Standards: Maintain the highest standard of work, with a positive team spirit, and continuously develop and improve quality standards.
  • Client and Manager Expectations: Meet the expectations of managers, clients, and the company, responding to any reasonable requests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that products, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored.
  • Problem-Solving: Use your initiative to resolve problems where appropriate, communicating any unresolved cleaning issues.
