Functional Assessor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing the functional capacity of individuals and providing accurate and unbiased reports.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong observational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, gathering information, and producing high-quality reports that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of individuals' functional capacity
  • Collect and analyze relevant information to inform assessment decisions
  • Produce high-quality reports that meet the needs of our clients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and consistent assessment outcomes
  • Meet productivity and quality targets
Requirements
  • One year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
  • Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN
  • Excellent observational and communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, producing reports in a timely manner
  • Solid experience with using IT and Microsoft Office, as well as remotely accessing systems
  • A current valid driving licence or access to a form of transport to attend your nearest assessment centre
