We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Maru Search & Consultancy as a Head of Payroll and Reward. This is a permanent role within a large leading construction company, where you will play a critical part of the Senior Management team in the HR shared service centre.

The role is a key part of the HR function, responsible for the administration of both the monthly and weekly payrolls, as well as reward and benefit administration. You will have two team managers and a team of 20 indirect reports across payroll, pension, and reward resources.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional payroll and reward services
  • Develop and implement proactive strategies to add value to the organisation
  • Collaborate closely with finance, IT, and HR CoEs to ensure seamless integration of payroll and reward operations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide expert advice on compensation and benefits to senior management

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a large, complex organisation
  • Significant knowledge and experience in the reward and payroll operations space
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to act as a conduit between different parts of the business
  • Sense of urgency with an excellent attention to detail

This role offers a competitive salary plus 20% bonus and car allowance. The company has an agile/flexible working policy to enable people living further away to visit once a week.
