We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advocate/Social Work professional to join our team at ASHDOWN GROUP. As a Care Home Support, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and dignity of our clients in care homes across Northumberland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients to understand their rights and advocate on their behalf
  • Work in line with legislation across mental health, care, and human rights acts
  • Ensure care provided is in the best interests of the client
  • Raise any safeguarding concerns

Requirements:

  • Ability to commute to care homes in the Northumberland region (mileage costs covered)
  • Social care background and understanding of legislation
  • Experience in advocacy would be advantageous
