About the Role

This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborating with experienced engineers and designers. You will be responsible for providing professional engineering support to project teams, both in the UK and overseas, to deliver innovative engineering solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality engineering tasks for various projects, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and client requirements.
  • Support the development of proposals for new business opportunities, provision of consultancy services, and project management.
  • Provide professional engineering support to project teams, both in the UK and overseas, to deliver innovative engineering solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and designers to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and schedules, working closely with the Lead Engineer/Project Engineer.
Requirements
  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in Concept, Front End Engineering development, Technical Study, and Detailed Design.
  • Knowledge of Quality systems and safe approach in design and working practices.
  • Experience in designing to comply with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Experience in site surveys and 2D AutoCad Software.
  • Previous experience producing 3D models using AutoCad Plant 3D.
  • Ability to produce 2D Piping and Equipment plot plans from Plant 3D model.
