Fostering Recruitment Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Recruitment Support Worker to join our Kinship and Fostering team. As the first point of contact for individuals interested in becoming foster carers, you will provide essential information and conduct initial assessments to ensure suitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent communication and support to potential foster carers
  • Conduct initial assessments and gather necessary information
  • Work closely with the team to improve foster carer retention and placement stability
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth recruitment process

Requirements:

  • Education to at least NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of relevant policies and procedures regarding children in care
  • Strong prioritization of safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
