Job Title: Adult Autism Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Barnet. The successful candidate will work with children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs, providing a comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy service in mainstream and special schools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a Speech and Language Therapy service to children and young people with speech, language and communication difficulties.
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Work closely with school staff, families and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and integrated care plan.
  • Provide training and advice to empower families and education staff to support children with communication needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of speech and language therapy packages of care and clinical care pathways.
Requirements:
  • Diploma, Degree or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registered Member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists.
  • Health and Care Professions Council Registration to Practice.
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy.
Working Pattern:

Full-time, Job share, Flexible working, Compressed hours.
