We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Operations Assistant to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a Payroll Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the processing of payroll data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Retrieve data from HMRC and interpret information to produce updates into the payroll system.
- Support the Compensation and Benefits team with data management and auditing tasks.
- Process P45 data to load into the payroll system, including TUPE and EXPATs.
- Understand and calculate different aspects of pay on pay slips, including statutory changes such as maternity, sickness, adoption, and parental leave.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders for payroll activities, building strong working relationships within the team and with finance and HR Business Partners.
- Audit pay slips to ensure accuracy and compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws and legislation.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of office management and MS Office programs, including MS Excel and MS Word, and MS Teams.
- Good understanding of SAP Payroll and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to think analytically and deliver high-quality results.
- Strong organizational skills, with a problem-solving attitude and ability to identify data trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving common goals.
- Ability to adapt to change and improve the quality and effectiveness of work.
