Job Opportunity: Subject Leader - Geography

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Geography department and drive academic excellence. As Subject Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high-quality Geography curriculum that aligns with national standards and academy objectives.
  • Lead a team of teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote student learning and achievement.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence and student wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the effective management of the academy.
