Veterinary Surgeon

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to provide weekend cover at our 24-hour RCVS small animal accredited hospital and emergency services clinic. Our hospital values are compassion, empowerment, and excellence, and we are passionate about providing patient-centered integrated care.
Our hospital is well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including in-house CT, MRI, a wide range of lab machines, video endoscopes, and a rehabilitation suite. We have a strong nursing team and an in-house rehabilitation team providing care for patients throughout their stay and beyond.
We offer emergency cover for several local clinics, providing a high case load of emergency and critical care cases. We also provide orthopaedic, laparoscopic, and ophthalmic surgery, as well as soft tissue surgery capabilities. Our hospital has cat, dog, and exotic wards, outpatients, and isolation units, as well as a dedicated dental area with dental x-ray.
We are committed to the professional development of our team members, with a generous CPD budget and regular check-ins and quarterly reviews. We also offer EMS placements and are a veterinary nursing training practice.
This role would suit a person who is passionate about providing excellent clinical care, building relationships with clients and colleagues, and enjoys sharing knowledge with colleagues and students alike.
We offer an attractive salary package of £45,000-£60,000 pro rata per annum depending on experience, as well as a range of enhanced benefits, including private healthcare and income protection.
We are an accredited sponsor, able to issue certificates of sponsorship for tier 2 (general) visas for suitable vet applicants.
