Position Overview
Thorn Baker Industrial is seeking a skilled Paint Application Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role primarily involves working in a joinery workshop, focusing on spray painting various furniture items for retail and display purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in spray painting tasks for a variety of furniture and display items.
- Collaborate with the installation team for occasional on-site assistance.
- Experiment with new paint products and finishes to enhance the quality of work.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
- At least 3 years of experience in a spray painting capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of paint types and willingness to explore new options.
- Awareness or training in COSHH regulations.
- Detail-oriented with a preference for diverse tasks.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in furniture spraying with various paint types.
