We are seeking an experienced Air Quality Technical Director to join our team at Bureau Veritas Group. As a key member of our Air Quality team, you will be responsible for leading and managing technically complex projects, including task management of junior team members and financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage large multifaceted projects in the air quality field, including monitoring and/or modelling.
- Develop and implement commercial opportunities and the future growth strategy of the team.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in air quality assessment and modelling.
- Proven experience in air quality/carbon consultancy industry at Principal Consultant or Technical Director Level.
- Expert understanding of air quality assessment within the UK, as well as the legislation and guidance that inform it.
- Thorough understanding of the technicalities of air quality dispersion modelling, including the use of ADMS, ADMS-Roads and AERMOD.
- Successful management of large multifaceted projects in the air quality field, with people management experience desirable.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel/VBA/R advantageous.
