Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented software development professional to join our global and dynamic software engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering solutions as per the roadmap of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions for real-time trading platforms in the post-trade market.
  • Propose improvements related to the development and support activity.
  • Troubleshoot production system support issues.
  • Perform software maintenance and upgrades.
  • Liaise with different teams to resolve dependencies and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in software development for junior roles.
  • 7-9 years of experience working in software development for senior roles.
  • Knowledge and experience of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities.
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, SQL Server, Postgres, Angular, Spring, Docker.
  • Experience with Scala is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of messaging protocols (MQ, FIX) and source control systems (Gitlab).
  • Experience with DevOps, Test-Driven Development, and Behavior Driven Development is an advantage.
  • Cloud technologies, deployment, and database management experience is a plus.
  • Financial services background and knowledge of securities lending, repo, and mbs is a plus.

Desirable Skills:

  • Agile methodology and self-starter attitude.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and determine various outcomes from different scenarios.
  • Ability to read and translate code to new code-bases.
  • Attention to detail and ability to contribute ideas in a team structure.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
