About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Copywriter to join our team at McCann Health London. As a Medical Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing high-quality promotional healthcare content for our clients, ensuring it adheres to relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop compelling promotional copy that meets client briefs and is scientifically accurate.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant therapy areas, media formats, and marketing techniques.
  • Collaborate with senior writers to review and provide feedback on medical copy developed by less experienced medical writers.
  • Ensure content is compliant with the ABPI code of practice or relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize tools such as Veeva, FUSE, and Proof to efficiently produce high-quality medical copy.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of excellence in medical copywriting and ability to mentor others.
  • Demonstrated experience creating communication strategies, tactics, and content.
  • Confident presenting work to clients and fielding medical writing questions.
  • Supports new business pitches and helps to identify organic growth opportunities.
