Global Retail Investment Manager

We are seeking a seasoned investment professional to join our Global Retail & Consumer Investments team in Doha as a Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage investment portfolios by overseeing specific companies and investments.
- Originate and evaluate new investment opportunities, and assist in the execution of investments for both private and negotiated public transactions.
- Post-acquisition, ensure appropriate reporting, performance monitoring, and risk assessment, and provide investment analysis and recommendations.
- Build organizational know-how in relevant industry sub-sectors by contributing expertise and external network.
- Key responsibilities include financial modeling, valuations, preparation of internal materials in support of the internal investment process, portfolio management, and preparation of quarterly reviews of existing portfolio assets and portfolio performance reviews.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate should arrive from a top-tier financial institution and be currently working in Investment banking / M&A or within Private Equity.
- Ideal candidates will have strong experience within Retail & Consumer sectors, with a focus on Consumer Technology considered a plus.
- Previous US/European deal exposure is a plus.
- The successful candidate must have strong modeling skills, an advanced degree or CFA considered a plus.
