Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Robert Walters UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial processes, driving improvements, and enhancing your financial management skills in a vibrant and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Regularly review debtor position and manage overdue accounts to ensure timely payment and minimize financial risks.
- Maintain comprehensive notes within monthly management accounts files to facilitate accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
- Prepare cashflow analysis and review variances against forecasts to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
- Oversee project accounts postings, deferred income releases, and intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process VAT returns, manage intercompany balances, and support the preparation of mortgage and loan reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and minimize financial risks.
- Compile quarterly financial statements and reports for board review, including action logs and statutory updates, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
