Position Overview
TPF Recruitment is representing a reputable chartered accountancy firm seeking a skilled Intermediate Accountant to enhance their team. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications such as AAT or be part-qualified in ACA or ACCA, or have equivalent experience. This role encompasses a blend of tax and accounting responsibilities, making it suitable for those looking to advance their careers in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Development of management accounts for diverse clientele
  • Calculation of corporate and personal tax obligations
  • Completion of VAT submissions
  • General bookkeeping utilizing cloud-based software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
  • Assisting directors with various advisory tasks
  • Mentoring junior staff members

Candidate Requirements
  • AAT qualified or part-qualified, or ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting practice
  • Familiarity with cloud accounting software like Iris, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is preferred

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 based on experience, with negotiable terms. A competitive benefits package is also included.
