Job Summary: We are seeking a technically strong and passionate Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Manchester. As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be involved in the detailed designs of below-ground drainage networks, including SuDs elements for buildings, highways, and public realms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects within a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and retail.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality designs and timely project delivery.
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in civil design consultancy, with a strong track record of project delivery.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Microdrainage, Civil 3D, and BIM.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
