About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Multi-Drop Class 2 Driver to join our team at Matthew Clark. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll play a vital role in delivering our products to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver orders to customers in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Work closely with a Driver's Mate to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every order is delivered with care and attention to detail.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure all necessary checks are completed prior to departure.
  • Manage customer orders, including informing customers of any delays or stock shortages.
  • Collect empty kegs and pallets, and ensure they are handled and stored correctly.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and complete all necessary paperwork and administration tasks.
About You:
  • 3+ years of driving experience, with at least 12 months of Class 2 experience.
  • Valid HGV driving licence and CPC licence.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local road network.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Experience of providing great customer service and dealing with multi-drop deliveries (desirable).
