About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at GGB - Global. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing accounts in an efficient and flexible manner, supporting your peers to meet client demands and achieve both renewal retention and growth rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control the renewal process for your clients, gathering information from clients and prospects using superb communication skills.
  • Maintain and grow your book of business by chasing and securing new business leads.
  • Openly discuss renewal terms with customers and seek alternatives to discuss with them, negotiating with brokers to gain access to the most competitive terms that meet your clients' objectives.
  • Visit with clients as appropriate, utilizing your interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • Assess account queries and credit control matters, resolving them efficiently and raising any concerns with the relevant team.
  • Identify and act upon new-business opportunities, using sound judgment to recommend them if appropriate.
About You
  • You hold or are working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Dip CII/Cert CII.
  • You are educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, with a strong working knowledge of general insurance products, services, and classes of insurance.
  • You possess a strong knowledge of the client market and insurance industry network, including the London Market, Lloyds, and industry.
  • You have due diligence in administration, policy documents, and processes.
  • You have excellent client service focus, with the customer always being your top priority.
  • You generate and drive new business using exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You actively deal with ambiguity and have outstanding accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You continually build your industry knowledge and seek development.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK.
