Job Summary

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on a variety of ad-hoc and contracted bookings. As a driver with Galago, you will have the flexibility to choose your bookings in advance and enjoy attractive rates of pay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive HGV trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations
  • Follow safety procedures when loading and unloading cargo
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
  • Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with road regulations
  • Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and follow routes as planned
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the UK
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
  • Digital tachograph card
