Job Title: Machinist - Nights

GE Aviation is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at our Wales site. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for the overhaul, repair, and maintenance of aircraft engines and their constituent parts.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul, repair, and modification of aircraft engines and their constituent parts
  • Restore used parts to extend their operational life
  • Ensure adherence to standard work targets to meet business objectives

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant engineering apprenticeship
  • Team player with a flexible approach and positive attitude
  • Previous working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system
  • Repair skillset including experience in general hand tools, pneumatic air tools, and riveting
