Job Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Health Care Assistant to join our team at Lecale Care Home in Downpatrick. This is a part-time position with a competitive rate of pay and a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the assessment and implementation of individual care plans
  • Undertake daily tasks and activities to facilitate residents' wellbeing, dignity, and treatment
  • Work efficiently with the multidisciplinary team to approach patient care
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, washing, and ensuring compliance with procedures and healthcare legislation
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any unusual occurrences to senior staff
  • Participate in ward meetings and maintain good professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and visitors
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Basic IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Healthcare experience desirable
  • Availability to work a flexible shift pattern, including evenings and weekends
