About the Role

As an Activities Coordinator at HC-One, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters social interaction, emotional well-being, and cognitive stimulation for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement engaging activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities, promoting a sense of community and belonging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programs that align with the needs and preferences of our residents
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and community outreach initiatives
  • Provide support and guidance to residents in developing their social skills and confidence
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily routines
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care or community setting
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to undergo safeguarding training and adhere to HC-One's policies and procedures
