About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team at Roche. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office buildings and equipment, providing a safe and efficient working environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and manage maintenance activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Manage small to large-scale projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality services and cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, ensuring a high level of expertise and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve maintenance processes and services.

Requirements

  • Multi-skilled with electrical, mechanical, and/or air conditioning qualifications.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of building services and health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
