Job Summary:

Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team as a Principal Designer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking ownership of key projects, operating independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract administration and management
  • Building surveys and reports, including schedule and plan preventative maintenance programmes
  • Advising on appointing contractors, designers, and procurement routes
  • Preparing scheme designs, specifications, and schedules of dilapidations
  • Advising on conservation of historic buildings and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualification
  • 3 Years Building Surveyor experience
  • Contract Administration Experience
  • Knowledge of CDM2015
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Knowledge of health and safety and building regulations
  • Cost management skills
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Full Driving License
