Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Various Schools

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Role Overview

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a high-quality educational experience for our students, adhering to company policies and the standards set by the relevant regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual students or small groups, in line with the school's curriculum framework.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
  • Contribute to the School Development Plan through active participation in initiatives.
  • Create a conducive learning environment that promotes student engagement and progression.
  • Coordinate teaching, assessment, and reporting across various subjects and key stages as agreed with school leadership.
  • Organize classroom resources and displays to foster an inspiring learning atmosphere.
  • Ensure student safety in accordance with risk assessments during on-site and off-site activities.
  • Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants and other staff to ensure effective educational resources are utilized.
  • Manage challenging behaviors, guiding students towards self-regulation.
  • Engage as a collaborative member of the school's multi-disciplinary team, fostering positive relationships with colleagues.
