Job Summary:

The Night Porter will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service to guests, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct regular checks and walk rounds of all areas of the hotel, ensuring that standards of cleanliness, safety, and security are maintained.
  • Assist with setting up conference meeting rooms and coffee stations, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Work collaboratively with the events team to ensure that all events and weddings are executed smoothly and to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and procedures, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Ability to work a varied shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
