About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Marshall Harmony. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in shaping our success by providing accurate and comprehensive costings for complex, multi-component rotating machinery projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Engineering team to develop initial sketches and costings for projects
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Projects, and sub-contractors to ensure accuracy and completeness of costings
  • Refine proposals for customers, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accurately represented
Requirements
  • Significant experience in estimating complex, multi-component rotating machinery, with a strong technical understanding
  • Solid awareness/understanding of machining and fabrication processes
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, ideally in a machining or fabrication environment
  • Experience with ERP systems, with the ability to leverage case studies and historic costs for underpinning estimates
  • A meticulous eye for detail and accuracy in costings
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor 3D is advantageous but not essential
