Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a background in manufacturing?

Williams Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. We are a well-established manufacturer known for our commitment to quality and excellence. With significant growth and investment plans in place, this is an exciting time to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will be a mechanically inclined maintenance engineer, multi-skilled technician, or mechanical fitter with hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting. A solid understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics is essential. Candidates should ideally be apprentice-trained or possess equivalent qualifications.

In this role, you will report directly to the maintenance supervisor and be responsible for both reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks, utilizing a CMMS system. You will work on a diverse array of production and process machinery within our manufacturing facility. Your mechanical expertise will be applied to systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, drives, rivets, belts, and pumps. Additionally, you will engage in strip down and rebuild activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and facilities maintenance as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance on production and process machinery.
  • Engage in reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct pre-planned maintenance in accordance with CMMS protocols.
  • Participate in project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer, mechanical fitter, or mechanical technician.
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment.
