Relief Security Officer

Securitas Security Services is a leading security service organization that provides a range of security solutions to clients across the globe.
We are currently seeking a Relief Security Officer to join our team in the Reading area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a security professional to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing a high level of security service to our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Manning the property, premises, customers, clients, and colleagues of our clients.
- Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems.
- Carrying out patrols across the site to ensure the security and safety of our clients.
- Escorting visitors across the site when necessary.
- Creating a trusted and respected security presence.
- Retaining full control of any threatening behavior until the arrival of the police or any other external agency.
- Monitoring loss and waste, and reporting any incidents.
- Being the first point of contact for all colleagues, customers, and clients.
- Working in a two-man team to provide a high level of security service.
- Access and egress control.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid SIA license.
- A driving license.
- A minimum of 5 years' checkable work or education history.
- Vigilance, helpfulness, and integrity.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Computer literacy.
- Customer service skills.
