Arla Foods is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance and Engineering Leader to join our team at Stourton Dairy in Leeds.
About the Role
- Lead the site M&E department, working across specialist areas such as Process, Production, Automation, Projects, Utilities, and site services.
- Develop and implement the M&E roadmap onsite, aligning with UK peers to achieve world-class maintenance and engineering practices.
- Accountable for effective control and deployment of an annual multi-million-pound maintenance budget.
- Collaborate with Operations on Operator Asset Care improvement and expansion.
- Develop the M&E department to provide reliability and capability required as the site grows.
Requirements
- Robust understanding of M&E within an automated fast-moving manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and experience working with M&E safety & compliance.
- Proven M&E focussed continuous improvement experience (TPM, WCM methodology preferred).
- Strong leadership experience with a focus on people development, having managed a M&E department with c50 engineers.
- Appetite for creating positive change and experience in culture-led change management.

- Producing over 200 products across 14 filling lines – including our great brands of Cravendale & BoB filtered milk, Baileys, McDonald's and all the major retailers.
